1967 Ford Ranger F-100 Pickup
We bought this old pickup in the fall of 2002. It arrived here in Michigan from Arizona in late March 2003. I was agonizing on how to get the truck home for months. Luckily, some friends surprised me by bringing it home for me! I still can't believe it!
This truck will be for me and I will probably keep it for a long time. I will be performing a frame off full restoration with some upgrades. All the time that I've owned the truck has given me some time to buy parts. I will be replacing the running gear with a 351 Cleveland and AOD transmission. This should give me nice drivability and hopefully still tow well. Items I already have for the truck include: front disc brake swap, power brake setup, 351 Cleveland rebuilt engine, auxilary gas tank to replace the original, tilt steering wheel, Stereo and CD player, cupholders, 95 Dodge truck seat, chrome wheels and tires, Mustang cruise control, delay wiper system, power window conversion, seat belts, cargo lamp option, and new lower side chrome.
I just ordered an AOD transmission but have not recieved it yet. I'll also be getting all the normal stuff to renew everything on the truck. A Vintage Air heating cooling and defrost system will also be installed. Paint will be 2003 Ford Toreador Red and the interior will be grey. Should be a great everyday driver with classic appeal when complete.
